Install CarePlus on your phone.
On Android it is five steps and about two minutes, with no Play Store account required. On iPhone it goes through TestFlight, Apple's own app for beta builds. Both are below.
Install the APK.

Tap the Android download button
Hit the Download button on this page. Your phone will start downloading careplus.apk to your Downloads folder.
If your browser warns "this file may harm your device", that's the standard message for any file outside the Play Store. Tap Keep or Download anyway. - 2
Open the downloaded file
When the download finishes, pull down your notifications and tap careplus.apk. Or open the Files / Downloads app and tap it from there.

Allow install from this source
Android will ask whether to trust your browser to install apps. Tap Settings, toggle "Allow from this source" on, then go back.
You only need to do this once per browser. After that, future updates install in one tap. - 4
Install
Tap Install. If Google Play Protect shows a warning about an "unrecognised developer", tap "Install anyway". This is normal for apps that aren't on the Play Store yet.

Open CarePlus
Tap Open when the install finishes — or find CarePlus in your app drawer. Sign in or create an account, and you're ready to consult.
Why we're not on the Play Store yet
Direct download lets us iterate fast and reach Nigerians on networks where the Play Store is slow or restricted. Every build is signed, scanned, and tested before we publish it. We're actively working on a Play Store release for users who prefer that distribution channel.
Install through TestFlight.
Version 1.1.1 (build 16) · beta build · iPhone
It is the same CarePlus that Android users run, on the same account. This build is a beta and trails the Android 1.1.5 release until the next one clears Apple's review, so the newest features reach Android first.

Install TestFlight first
Open the App Store on your iPhone, search for TestFlight, and install it. It is free and made by Apple — it is how every beta app reaches an iPhone.
This is the step almost everyone skips. With no TestFlight on the phone, the CarePlus invite has nothing to open in and shows a web page instead. - 2
Open the CarePlus invite on the iPhone
Tap the iPhone (TestFlight) button at the top of this page. If you are reading this on a laptop, open careplusng.com on the iPhone itself and tap the same button there.
The invite has to be opened on the phone you want CarePlus on. Tapping it on a computer will not install anything. - 3
Tap Accept, then Install
TestFlight opens on the CarePlus page. Tap Accept to join the beta, then Install. CarePlus lands on your home screen like any other app.
Leave TestFlight on the phone afterwards. New builds arrive through it, and it is where you go when the current build expires. - 4
Open CarePlus and sign in
Tap CarePlus on your home screen, then sign in or create an account. The app works the way it does on Android — only the way it reached your phone is different.
TestFlight builds expire after about 90 days
That is how Apple runs betas, and it catches everyone out. When a build lapses, TestFlight says it is no longer available and CarePlus stops opening. Nothing has gone wrong and nothing is lost — come back to this page, tap the iPhone button again, and TestFlight installs the current build. Sign in with the same account and everything is where you left it.
